IAAF RDC-Jakarta conducted the CECS Level II Pilot Course on Sprints and Hurdles on 28 September – 05 October 2017 which took venue in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Mr. Volker Herrmann (Germany) and Mr. Ria Lumintuarso (RDC Jakarta/Indonesia) were appointed by the IAAF to run the Course which was attended by 17 Coaches from 12 different countries from South and South East Asia.
Course was opened by welcoming address of RDC-Jakarta Director, Mr. Ria Lumintuarso and brief introduction of the Course by Director of Course, Mr. Volker Herrmann.
The 8 days Course was held in the function room of “Wisma MMUGM Hotel & Convention” and in the track & field of the “State University of Yogyakarta”. Athletes of the State University of Yogyakarta helped the class for the practical session as demonstration Athletes.
Furthermore, to evaluate capability of Participants, the Lecturers apply 4 kind of evaluations as follows: Practical Exam, Written Exam, Micro Cyclus Planning Exam, and Oral Exam.
The Course was completely concluded on the 5th of October 2017 by distributing certificates to all Participants at the garden farewell dinner.
